SALEM, NH – Brooks Properties of Salem, NH has opened a brand new office building at 23 Keewaydin Drive. The 48,684 square foot building is a modern, four-story, first class office building with wrap around glass and manicured landscaping. Its sits on the south side of Brookside Park adjacent to I-93.

Brookside Park, the brainchild of Harold J. Brooks, owner of Brooks Properties, came into existence in 2003 when Brooks purchased 2 dilapidated buildings at 15 and 19 Keewaydin Drive. In 2009, the company begin “Project Metamorphosis”, a $1 Million remodeling job to make the two buildings modern and attractive to prospective tenants. After leasing both 15 and 19 Keewaydin, they purchased 11 Keewaydin Drive and built a first class 36,400 sq ft building that matched the style of the other Brookside Park properties. Brooks began building 23 Keewaydin Drive in 2009. 21 Keewaydin Drive is still under construction.

“The Keewaydin Drive project has been a welcome addition to the Greater Salem landscape. Having modern, attractive office buildings will attract more business to the area, which is what we are always working toward,” says Donna Morris of the Greater Salem Chamber of Commerce.

One of the new tenants in the 23 Keewaydin Drive building is North Atlantic Surgical Suites, a fully licensed facility with three operating rooms that specialize in total knee and hip replacement surgery and orthopedic spinal surgery.

“With the recent surge of outpatient healthcare centers, we are seeing more and more of our buildings being occupied by medical facilities,” said Eric Brooks of Brooks Properties. “We look forward to offering the community more potential employment opportunities, along with additional healthcare options.”

Cornell University is also a tenant at the new building. They relocated from 11 Keewaydin Drive, to provide more space for their classrooms.
